Our employee Nina Röttgers used the winter break to support the construction of a new vocational school of the Forikolo Action Group in Mathen, Sierra Leone. Starting in fall, the facility will teach up to 150 apprentices in plumbing (Water and Sanitation Health Care Technicians), electrical/solar, woodworking and perspective agriculture. To make this possible, the necessary infrastructure, including a water laboratory, is currently being built.
Polyplan-Kreikenbaum supported the project with a donation and Nina Röttgers will continue to accompany the development of the local laboratory team in cooperation with Wasser ohne Grenzen e.V.
