Refurbishment and redesign

Two of the three existing pools: the non-swimmer pool and the toddler pool were completely renovated or replaced by newly designed pools. While the non-swimmer’s pool remained largely unchanged, it was surrounded by lounger niches, the toddler’s pool was transformed into a shuttle channel with climbing hill and paddling pool. The fall-proof EPDM decking allows toddlers to climb the sculpted hills of the shuttle channel and play freely. The inflowing water can be manually diverted or dammed up by five adjustable weirs, this offers shuttles or rubber ducks a race track of approx.15m with several shuttle harbors. Furthermore, a paddling pool with a water surface of 43m² with a maximum water depth of 35cm as well as a splash field with eight water fountains are adjacent. There is a sun terrace for pool gastronomy in the immediate vicinity of this attraction for young swimmers. This has breathed a new life into the toddler area and added a unique attraction to the existing bathing facilities.
