This year, we are once again supporting the activities of Forikolo e.V.(https://www.forikolo.de/).
The water laboratory for the MaTec Vocational School in Mathen, where WaSH technicians (Water and Sanitation Health Care) are trained, which was started in 2021, is nearing completion. Our employee Nina is currently training the local team in the use of the laboratory equipment and supporting the teachers in the creation of teaching materials and practical exercises. The laboratory is due to start testing local drinking water sources in 2024 and make the drinking water supply a little safer. Urgently needed in a region where the majority of the population has only limited access to safe drinking water.
