Artificial intelligence for shrimp?
The work presented here is one of 11 so-called “application experiments” (AE) embedded in a consortium of more than 30 partners in the EU project DIH4CPS (digital innovation hubs for cyber-physical systems). Our AE titled “Smart Aquaculture” is about digital innovations in an indoor shrimp farm in Germany (www.dielandgarnele.de ). Indoor aquaculture is a growing sector of food production but still in a young stage of development, to be enhanced by using the opportunities of digital technologies.
