Since 2015, we have been accompanying the natural swimming pool Märsta near Stockholm with our monitoring system DANA. The decreasing filter performance of the outdoor pool was a reason to renew the complete water technology.
For the last two years we have been involved in the planning and renovation of the water technology. Hydrobotanics, Neptune filter and the pipelines were upgraded. The contract volume of the project corresponds to approximately 850,000 € with a total swimming area of 3,100 ² with a volume of 6,000 m³. Commissioning will take place in May 2023.
The pictures show the diving tower with surrounding hydrobotanics, this will be completely flooded when the plant is in operation. The construction of the Neptune filter can be seen in the right picture. Individual nozzles distribute the water over the filter material, which then seeps through the filter layer and is fed back into the system in a purified state.
